Greetings Everyone!

In light of the fact that I am still on the east coast visiting family, I’m going to keep the next few fishing reports to mostly the facts about the current river conditions, weather and upcoming outlook for the next week or so.  Without being on the river daily, it’s hard to give you an idea of what’s working (bug-wise), or to share with you any beneficial observations that may help you on the river, considering that I’m on the east coast.  With that being said, let’s get into the current conditions. Right now, in Decker’s/Trumbull, the sun is shining and the temperature is heating up! Looks like it’s going to be in the mid-80’s today, with a similar forecast for tomorrow. Flows below the dam are at 423 cfs in Cheesman Canyon, with it being slightly lower in Decker’s/Trumbull at 417 cfs.  The nice thing about writing a daily fishing report, is that if I do have to miss a day of reporting on the river, you can easily look back at the last couple of reports to get an idea of what’s going on down here on the South Platte River. If you’re new to fishing Decker’s, or you’re a seasoned veteran of our river, stop in to Flies and Lies http://www.flies-n-lies.com and any of the guys in the shop will be glad to steer you towards the bugs that have been producing for them! It’s also a great time of year to take a half-day or full-day trip with some of the most knowledgeable fishing minds on the South Platte!  Cabins are available for a day, week, or extended stay, so book yours today at http://www.southplatterivercabins.com. That’s all for now folks! Today’s picture gallery is a snapshot of my time here so far, in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Have a great Sunday afternoon and I’ll look forward to seeing you on the river!
