July 26, 2023- Today in Deckers
Good Morning Friends!
Lots to update you on this morning! First, let’s get to the weather. It’s a beautiful morning here on the South Platte. Temps in the upper 60’s, with clear skies. We hope to see you up here this weekend. Remember to bring CASH, as the day-use areas do not accept cards. Flows through Deckers this morning, still holding at 209cfs. You’re still going to have to deal with the shallower sections, but better than 165! One of the big issues we see when the flow is this low is busted tubes along the river. Please don’t be that person and pick up your garbage. If you are planning on floating the river today, just be sure to be equipped with proper safety gear and remember to never float alone. Fishing
With warming river temperatures, Denver Water is cooling down the river by releasing water from the bottom of the dam, to cool and regualate temperatures.
